Job summary

Kautec Recruitment Ltd is seeking a fully qualified Mobile Service Engineer to cover Sheffield and surrounding areas, travelling in a fully equipped van to service a range of specialised vehicles and equipment.

Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week with around 60% productive time. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £40,000 to £48,000 and opportunities to work at airports, ports, manufacturing sites or military installations.

Qualifications

• Ideally fully qualified (City & Guilds) or NVQ.
• IRTEC or EV qualification desirable.
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be desirable but not essential.

Job description

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician living in the Sheffield area looking for a Mobile Service role?
Monday to Friday role. Day shifts
Salary - £40,000 - £48,000

The role of the Mobile Service Engineer:

You will be travelling within a designated area and have use of a fully equipped van. You will be working on a variety of specialised vehicles which could include cargo and ground support equipment, industrial type tractors and tugs/ shunters. It could also involve working at airports, sea ports, main dealers, manufacturing sites or military installations.

• Hydraulics and pneumatics?
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections?

Requirements for this Mobile Service Engineer position:

Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence but not essential.
