The Fleet Services team is looking for a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic to work at the Shannon Workshop, Eastcroft Depot. This workshop provides repair and maintenance services for the Council’s internal fleet and external customers, including a range of HGVs, light vehicles, and road-going plant.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and examinations, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, the Council's Operators Licence, DVSA requirements, and internal policies.
They should be able to work independently and meet strict deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards at all times.
