Our Lindum Plant division is one of the county’s leading specialists providing a one-stop shop for plant and small tool hire as well as maintenance, repairs, servicing and MOT testing for a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, from cars and vans to LGVs and plant machinery. We have two workshops and a tyre bay at our site in Lincoln.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced LGV Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Lincoln.
The role is full-time (basic hours are 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday) plus overtime as required. You will also cover the weekend and out-of-hours call out rota. Lindum Plant currently holds the contract for the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue (LFR) fleet and is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all appliances in the region. The role offer a unique opportunity to work on these highly specialised vehicles and play a vital role delivering the reactive out-of-hours call outs service which keeps LFR appliances on the road and able to respond to emergencies and save lives.
