Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with HGV Class C+E is essential.
• Previous HGV mechanical experience required.

Average Hours: 48 hours per week with variable shift patterns available

As an HGV Mechanic your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting, reporting, repairing, and servicing trailers, vehicles, and factory transport.
• Conducting pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards.
• Completing paperwork related to the above tasks.
• Performing any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements and Skills:

• Full UK Driving Licence – HGV Class C+E licence is essential.
• Industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• Previous HGV mechanical experience.
• Good knowledge of H&S practices.
• Excellent mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work well individually and as part of a team.
