Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Jetting Engineer to cover sites across the United Kingdom, carrying out drainage cleaning and maintenance. You will typically work with a CCTV team, lead on site, and coordinate with clients to report findings and recommend solutions.

The role requires an HGV licence, CSCS and NRSWA streetworks cards, and ideally experience with HGV jetting equipment. We value development, equality, and safety across all assignments.

Qualifications

• HGV driving licence essential.
• CSCS and NRSWA streetworks cards required.
• Experience with HGV jetting equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV jetting units to clean and maintain drainage.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and planned maintenance.
• Conduct CCTV surveys to assess drainage conditions.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to report findings and recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.

About the role…

As part of a team operating our high spec Recycler, Jetvac or Cityflex units, you will visit all types of clients — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road & utility — across the UK carrying out cleaning, desilt, root cutting & associated CCTV where necessary.

Generally working with a CCTV Team, you will take a lead from the CCTV Drainage Engineer when on site but also work under your own initiative and as part of a team!

As a HGV Jetting Engineeryou will…

• Operating HGV jetting units to carry out drainage cleaning and maintenance.
