Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an HGV Jetting Engineer to join its frontline drainage service teams across the UK. You will operate jetting and vacuumation units, perform blockage clearance and pipe cleansing, and travel to various sites including industrial, rail and residential facilities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with up to 3 penalty points.
• Experience with high‑pressure jetting equipment is desirable but training will be provided.
• CPC is desirable but not essential; CSCS card is advantageous.

Job description

HGV Jetting Engineer

We are looking for an HGV Jetting Engineer to join our operational teams on the front line of drainage service across the UK. The successful candidate will maintain essential infrastructure and take part in a two‑person crew delivering jetting and vacuumation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units on drainage sites.
• Execute blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works.
• Travel to various work sectors including industrial, rail, utility, commercial and residential.
• Observe and adhere to health, safety and environmental compliance protocols.
• Participate in mandatory group induction and training programmes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Experience with high‑pressure jetting equipment and drainage networks is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable but not essential.
• CSCS card is an advantage but can be provided by the company.
• Willingness to work monday to friday 7am‑5pm, with flexibility for early starts, overtime and out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
