Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician based at our on-site Stoney Stanton workshop in Leicestershire. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy vehicles and trailers, working a rotating early/late shift with overtime opportunities and a generous sign-on package.

You will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, and servicing to keep the fleet safe and ready for action across the UK, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers and workshop equipment
• Good diagnostic skills with safety-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to maintain fleet readiness
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment to high standards
• Support fleet safety and compliance through thorough servicing
• Participate in training to enhance skills
