Job summary

The role features a rotating shift pattern, a 45-hour week with overtime opportunities and on-site parking. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent.
• Previous HGV Technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Commercial vehicle or dealership experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Carry out inspections, diagnostics and fault finding.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections.
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and call-outs when required.
• Carry out preventative maintenance.
• Complete accurate service and repair records.
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.
