Job summary

Connect Appointments is seeking an HGV Fitter/Technician in Radcliffe, UK, to join a fleet maintenance team. The role is temporary to permanent, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with occasional Saturday mornings, and pays £20 per hour.

You will service a fleet of 7.5 tonne Iveco Daily vehicles, carry out PMIs, diagnose faults, and keep accurate service records. Proven HGV experience and reliable, methodical approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV fitter or vehicle technician.
• Experience carrying out PMIs and routine servicing.
• Flexibility to cover occasional Saturday mornings.
• Reliable, methodical approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing across a fleet of 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• Completing PMIs to schedule.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults.
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
