Job summary

Search Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Wrexham for experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join their operation on an ongoing basis. The role involves general haulage work across the UK and delivering loads with curtainsiders.

Drivers must have 12 months of Class 1 experience, a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and tachograph cards, and experience with ratchet straps. Ongoing shifts and competitive pay rates (£17-£20ph) are on offer in a well-established transport

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder.
• Previous experience using ratchet straps.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries and collections across the UK.

• Vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork.
• Adhering to drivers' hours and WTD regulations.

This role involves general haulage work across the UK, working with a variety of loads and delivery locations. Drivers will be expected to have experience securing loads using ratchet straps and to carry out all deliveries safely and professionally.

• Adhering to drivers' hours and WTD regulations
• Other general driving duties as required

Requirements
