Job summary

H W Martin Fencing and Forestry Ltd is seeking a full-time HGV Driver/Yard Operative to transport fencing materials across the UK and manage yard duties at the Blackwell depot. You will drive an HGV, perform daily vehicle checks and handle stock alongside loading/unloading tasks.

The role requires a Class 1 licence, ALLMI crane competence and a Tachograph card, with English proficiency and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Equal opportunities employer; Pension and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence is essential.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph card are essential.
• ALLMI competence for crane operation is required.
• English language (speaking, reading, writing) and basic arithmetic.
• Flexible approach with good communication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to locations across the UK for fencing works.
• Load/unload materials with a Telescopic Handler.
• Perform stock checks and ensure goods inwards/outwards are documented.
