From the very first local fencing contracts of the early 1970’s to the multi discipline national contracts of today is a journey throughout which we have always strived to exceed our client’s expectations.
We have a trained and certificated workforce of over 1,000 who deliver works and support services from design, through to build and onward maintenance for the transport and waste recycling infrastructure of the UK. With 16 substantial operations centres from Devon to Durham and from Kent to North Lanarkshire and from our head office facility in Derbyshire, we provide a truly national coverage.
The Martin Group work in partnership with our clients to self- deliver integrated, valued, and sustainable solutions to clients such as Highways England, Network Rail and Local Authorities.
As specialists in fencing and vegetation management, we are used to working with leading civil engineering contractors, highway authorities and rail networks. Since 1996, we have concentrated much of our resources on the railway industry and have steadily increased our share of work to the point where we are now a principal contractor on over three quarters of the railway network.
We have also been providing a comprehensive range of vegetation management services and solutions for over 20 years. In recent years, we have introduced a dedicated ecology department and are now able to provide a complete package for ecological and vegetation management that enhances our capability to provide an efficient holistic service.
The role will include delivering materials to various locations in the UK to facilitate fencing work and subsequent removal of scrap back to our HQ in Blackwell. The role will also involve yard duties such as loading and unloading materials with a telescopic handler, undertaking stock checks, and ensuring goods inwards and outwards are fully documented.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from any suitably qualified persons.
