Job summary

Wynnstay Group PLC is seeking an experienced driver to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, delivering goods across multiple routes with a focus on safety and customer service. You will load/unload, conduct pre-trip checks, and maintain clear records while coordinating closely with dispatch and customers.

Ideal candidates bring proven heavy-vehicle experience, familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles with heavy vehicles.
• Familiarity with manual transmission and basic vehicle upkeep.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including box trucks and flats.
• Load/unload goods using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Deliver to multiple locations on assigned routes while following schedules.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, customers and team to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse movements and equipment as needed.
