Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd seeks an experienced C+E Driver Trainer at Severnside. You will train drivers, deliver sessions and assess performance, with a 5-on, 2-off shift pattern. A Class 1 licence is essential, and occasional Class 1 driving may be required during peak periods.

Shift: Tue–Sat 10:00–20:00. Pay rates vary by day/night and include overtime and weekend premiums. A 30-minute break is deducted per shift, plus a £40 weekly uplift.

Qualifications

• Hold a full and valid C+E Driving Licence for a minimum of 3 years.
• Previous experience in a Driver Trainer, Driver Assessor or similar training role.
• Ability to speak confidently in front of an audience and effectively communicate key information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate colleagues.
• Confident delivering training sessions and presenting to groups of varying sizes, both in classroom and practical environments.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Legislation.
• Good understanding of the Road Transport Working Time Directive (RTWTD).
• Willingness to deliver Driver CPC Training.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet business requirements.
• Commitment to continuous personal development and training.
