Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer / Driver Assessor (HGV & Transport) in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on developing drivers, improving safety standards and shaping performance across two busy sites.

You will conduct inductions, ongoing coaching, and driver assessments, with a proactive approach to compliance, accidents investigation, and continuous improvement, in a Monday–Friday, 2pm–10pm setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Driver Trainer/Assessor or similar roles in transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and driver legislation is essential.
• Proven coaching and development skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver inductions, assessments, and onboarding programmes.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development for drivers across sites.
• Ensure compliance with SSOW procedures and monitor driver records.
