Job summary

Veolia is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver/Operative in Wembley. You will drive to collection sites, load recycling and waste, and perform vehicle checks using onboard systems. The role includes weekday hours, overtime opportunities, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Assist with loading/sweeping and any operation required from street department operatives.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use onboard technology to log work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and keep the work environment safe and clean.
• Assist with loading bins and containers when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per driver/operator handbook.
• Use onboard tech to complete work notes and ensure the carriageway is left clean.

What you'll be doing;
