Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for night shifts in Sherburn in Elmet. This role offers competitive pay, weekly wages and ongoing shifts with our established client. Shifts run nights with 12-hour blocks and most duties involve store work and pallet handling.

Eligible candidates must hold a UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with up to 6 points and at least 12 months of driving experience. Regular weekly pay and excellent support are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Minimum experience - 12 months.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.
• A reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Store work.
• Approximately 3/4 drops per shift/12 hours per shift approx.
• Start times between Nights 18:00 - 02:00.
• Manual handling required/cage unloading/tail lift operation.
• Ongoing work.
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.

• Weekend £25.61 -£32.85

• Bank Holiday £39.68 - £56.17

Estimated weekly pay £1239.15 based on 55 hrs
