Job summary

DPD is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our national transport team, operating a modern fleet and ensuring timely nationwide collections and deliveries. You will work within a people-first culture that values safety, efficiency and compliance.

Key requirements include a UK Class 1 licence with CPC and tachograph cards, and at least 6 months of Class 1 experience. The role offers a night-shift premium and opportunities for growth within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months of experience operating Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and supervise live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage routes and ensure 100% compliance.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
