Job summary

DPD is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our UK team in a role that keeps the country moving. You will operate a modern fleet, handle nationwide collections and deliveries, and work with GPS and tachographs to stay compliant.

You’ll need a valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, plus at least six months of Class 1 experience. We look for a safety-first mindset, resilience under pressure, and alignment with our values.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months' experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to DPD sites and customers.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and tachographs to plan routes and stay compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
