Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods in Watton, Norfolk is seeking a Long Distance HGV Livestock Driver to transport livestock across the UK and plan daily routes. This role is based in the UK with a pattern of early starts and weekend flexibility.

Applicants should have a C+E (Class 1) license and a Driver CPC, with training available for suitable candidates. You will be part of a team, committed to animal welfare and flexible in working weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Must hold C+E (Class 1) license.
• Experience preferred but training can be provided.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends with notice.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work.

Job requirements of Long Distance HGV Livestock Driver:

• To transport livestock around the UK
• Planning route on a day-to-day basis
• Work as part of a team
• Have a good understanding and passion for animal welfare
• Flexibility with weekend availability (with notice given)

• Ability to commit to early mornings and have nights out
• Previous experience preferred but training can be given to suitable applicant
• Flexible attitude to work
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Pay and benefits:

• Salary - £224 per day
• Attendance bonus of £40 per week
