Job summary

Cranswick PLC, via Wayland Farms, is seeking a HGV Class 1 Livestock and Feed Driver to move livestock and feed across the East Anglia region. You will support animal welfare and ensure timely deliveries in a fixed 3-shift pattern with a 48-hour week and occasional weekends.

Applicants must hold a C+E licence and a current CPC; training is available for suitable candidates. A flexible, proactive mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• C+E (class 1) licence is required.
• CPC qualification is required.
• Experience preferred but training can be provided for suitable applicants.
• Flexible attitude to work and ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport livestock and feed around the East Anglia region.
• Ensure animal welfare during transport.
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
• Early starts with no nights out.

Job responsibilities of HGV Class 1 Livestock and Feed Driver:

• To transport livestock and feed around the East Anglia region
• Have a good understanding and passion for animal welfare
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
• The role will involve early starts but no nights out.

What you will need:

• C + E (class 1) licence
• Previous experience preferred but training can be given to suitable applicants
• Flexible attitude to work
• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Current CPC
