Job summary

Amey in Dundee is recruiting HGV Drivers / Highways Maintenance Operatives to help maintain Scotland's trunk roads. You will drive HGVs and perform essential highway maintenance duties on-site across the region.

Qualifications

• HGV licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGVs and specialist highway maintenance vehicles.
• Carry out carriageway and footway repairs.
• Kerbing and ironwork replacement.
• Drainage maintenance and repair works.
• Operate small plant and equipment.
• Winter gritting and snow response activities.
• Emergency incident response and network recovery.
• General highway maintenance and environmental activities.
• Complete vehicle inspections, records and work documentation.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance.
