Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our national transport team, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers with a modern fleet and GPS-based tools.

You’ll work Fri to Sun with evening and night shifts; a UK Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph cards are essential. We reward reliability with a people-first culture and clear opportunities for career progression across the business.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months experience with Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and stay compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
