Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a capable HGV Driver to support our growing operations. You will be responsible for timely collections and deliveries to customer sites while maintaining high safety and service standards.

You will load and unload rental equipment, including heavy plant, and engage with customers to ensure smooth handovers. The role emphasizes safe driving, compliance with working time directives, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing journeys, and load/unload and secure the load.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company safety requirements and working time regulations.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business? We are looking for a talented HGV Driver, Plant and MEWP Load/Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers.
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times.
