Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is seeking 6 Class 1 HGV drivers for tramping work starting Mondays and returning Fridays. The role involves 4 nights out from Monday to Thursday with a Friday return, plus daily vehicle checks and proper tachograph use.

Pay ranges from £17.00 to £21.00 per hour PAYE with advance options. This position is suitable for drivers in the Preston area and commutable nearby towns; no weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

HGV Drivers Class 1 Tramping - Nights Out

Nights out Tramping start Monday, Back Friday.

We are looking for 6 Class 1 HGV Drivers to carry out tramping work.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you must have:

• C+E driving Licence
• Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• 6 points or less on your licence for minor offences.
• Be keen to look after your vehicle and be reliable and punctual

HGV Class 1 Driver responsibilities include:

• 4 nights out, Monday to Thursday, run back on Friday.
• Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
• Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours

The successful HGV Drivers can expect

• Monday-Friday shifts, £17.00-£21.00 per Hour PAYE Adv
• No weekend working required.
