Job summary

Brakes in Grantham is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our UK driving team. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods to depots, ensuring safe delivery, on-time performance and strict food hygiene standards. You’ll maintain load plans and records, and build positive relationships with colleagues to support smooth operations.

The role requires CPC qualification, flexible shifts, strong communication and teamwork. We offer pension, holiday, discounts and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experienced Class 1 Driver with valid CPC.
• Deliver to depots ensuring safety and hygiene.
• Reliable, with good communication.
• Able to work in a shift pattern.

Responsibilities

Week 1 - Sunday - Thursday (Friday & Saturday rest days)

Week 2 - Sunday - Friday (Saturday & a day in the week rest)

Start times between 15:00 PM - Midnight (45hrs pw)

A key member of our driving team, you’ll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to other depots. You’ll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues.
