Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is expanding its driving team in Brighton. We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver ambient, chilled, and frozen goods to customers across the local region. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and uphold strict food hygiene standards.

You will maintain records, complete load plans and foster strong relationships with customers and colleagues. A CPC card and a proactive, service-minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• Eye for detail.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, on time and to high food hygiene standards.

£44,000 per annum (£18.80 per hour) plus bonus & a great range of benefits

Starting around 06:00 Monday - Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota (with a rest day in the week 45 hrs pw)

A key member of our driving team, you'll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region. You'll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues and customers.
