Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing afternoon shifts in Warrington. Immediate starts are welcome, with regular weekly pay and competitive rates.

Pay rates include uplifts and a mix of AM/PM/Night shifts. A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, along with good knowledge of drivers’ hours and UK geography.

Qualifications

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six points on your licence for minor endorsements.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.
• Good UK geographical knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Straightforward trunking to distribution centres.
• Minimal collections and no handball.
• Afternoon start times between 10:00 and 16:00.
• Securing loads and completing deliveries safely.
• Reporting vehicle defects to the Transport Office.
• Regular, ongoing work.

Sunday: AM £18.22 | PM £19.05 | Nights £19.95

The role
