Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for hub deliveries in Willand. This full-time role offers a temp-to-perm path with competitive hourly rates and weekly PAYE payments.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times between 17:00 and 19:00. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience, a valid HGV C+E licence, and a CPC card, along with strong knowledge of UK driving regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph and Driver CPC card.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Strong UK geographical knowledge.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hub deliveries as part of daily routes.
• Operate Monday to Friday shifts with start times 17:00–19:00.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with legal requirements.
