Job summary

Driver Hire Halifax is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for Keighley/ Halifax area with varied shift patterns. PAYE rate is £18.00 per hour, with options for ongoing temporary and potential permanent positions.

We welcome newly qualified drivers, though preference is given to those with 2 years of Class 1 experience and solid knowledge of UK road networks.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Newly passed drivers accepted
• 2 years' Class 1 experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Strong timekeeping and communication skills

Job Type: Full-Time / Temp to Perm / Ongoing Contract

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for a leading haulage, distribution, and logistics operation based in Bradford and Halifax. Drivers will be completing trunk runs, RDC deliveries, trailer swaps, and general haulage work depending on the route and shift pattern.

Newly passed Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply, although preference will be given to drivers with 2 years' experience.
