Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV driver for nationwide deliveries in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role involves early starts and a permanent, weekday schedule with overtime and allowances.

You will handle loading/unloading, complete vehicle safety checks, and manage delivery paperwork while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with transport and food safety procedures.

We're looking for experienced Class 1 and/or Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established, family-run distribution business in Ashton-under-Lyne.

You’ll complete nationwide deliveries of meat products, including carcass meat, so physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling are essential.

You’ll Need:

• Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• HGV driving experience, ideally 12 months
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and transport regulations
• Flexibility for early starts and nationwide routes
• A reliable and professional approach
