Job summary

Savanna Staff Solutions is seeking a part-time HGV driver to join our driver-led network in the UK. If you are studying, training, or retired and want extra earnings, this role offers flexible 4-on/4-off options and ad-hoc shifts across Class 1 and 2 work.

We typically pay between £19 and £27 per hour, with LTD or Umbrella PAYE pay methods. A minimum of 12 months HGV licence and some on-the-road experience is required. Join a driver-owned company that supports its drivers.

Qualifications

• HGV licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum 1 year on the HGV category you wish to drive.
• Some on-the-road experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 Trunking Days
• Class 1 Trunking Nights
• Class 1 Trailer drop and swap
• Class 1 Over nights for the film or theatre industry on location in the UK and overseas when available
• Class 1 Deliveries
• Class 1 shunting position
• Class 2 Days or Nights
• Class 2 long Haul (minimal deliveries)
• Class 2 Delivery work (pallet network, clothes deliveries, Drink's deliveries and multi drop)
• Class 2 Driving only work
• 7.5T Multi Drop Drivers
• Long distnace van work (High wycombe)

If You Have Held Your HGV Licence For 12 Months Then Savanna Staff Solutions Is The Perfect Solution For You. As Well As The Usual Ongoing HGV DRIVER Work We Provide, We Also Have a Massive Number Of Ad-hoc Shifts Doing The Following

• Class 1 Trunking Days


• Class 1 Trunking Nights


• Class 1 Trailer drop and swap


• Class 1 Over nights for the film or theatre industry on location in the UK and overseas when available


• Class 1 Deliveries


• Class 1 shunting position


• Class 2 Days or Nights


• Class 2 long Haul (minimal deliveries)

Here at Savanna our typical HGV DRIVER rates are between £19 and £27 p/h depending on shift time or day of the week.

Savanna have HGV DRIVER shifts that can work around you. All you need is 1 year minimum on your HGV category you wish to drive and some on the road experince and we can help

We pay our drivers via a LTD company where our clients allow us or UmbrellaPAYE method where they do not
