Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Drivers in Northampton. 6 months of Class 1 driving experience, CPC and a tachograph card are required to operate and maintain tachograph records.

This is a full‑time opportunity with fixed shift schedules, guaranteeing year‑round work and a minimum 45 hours per week. Temp to perm opportunities, canteen on site and free on‑site parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan routes and comply with road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Job description

Do you have 6 months of previous HGV Class 1 experience? If so, apply today to work as an HGV Driver for our client, a logistics and distribution company responsible for transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers, and customers.

Guaranteed year round work, minimum 45 hours per week!

Staffline is recruiting HGV Drivers in Northampton.

Rates of pay:

• Weekdays £15.15 per hour
• Weeknights £16.35 per hour
• Saturday day £18.15 per hour
• Saturday night £18.65 per hour
• Sunday day £18.15 per hour
• Sunday night £18.65 per hour

Estimated hourly pay using consolidated rates between £16.95 - £20.90.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Driver your duties include:

• Operate articulated heavy goods vehicles.
• Plan and follow assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections (walkaround checks) before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have 6 months of class 1 driving experience, CPC and a tacho card. You will be able to accurately operate and maintain tachograph records.
