Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a reliable Driver to join its Plant & Tool Division. Your role will involve delivering diggers, dumpers and power tools to construction, utilities and infrastructure sites across the UK, loading, delivering, collecting hire equipment and performing safety checks.

You will navigate city streets and rural roads, complete paperwork accurately, and represent GAP professionally with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a driving role, ideally delivering plant or tool equipment.
• Full UK driving licence with Category C (HGV) entitlement essential.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment safely and professionally.
• Demonstrate kit on-site and ensure all checks and paperwork are completed accurately.
