Job summary

GAP Group is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join its Plant & Tool Division in the UK. You will deliver, load, unload, and collect hire equipment such as diggers and power tools to construction sites, ensuring checks and paperwork are completed accurately.

You'll work safely, professionally, and maintain strong customer interactions, helping keep projects on schedule across diverse sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a driving role, ideally delivering plant or tool equipment.
• Full UK driving licence with Category C (HGV) entitlement essential
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately
• A professional, friendly approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire equipment to sites across the UK.
• Load and unload safely and check paperwork.
• Demonstrate kit on-site when required.
• Maintain safe driving practices and route paperwork.
