Job summary

Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an experienced HGV Driver for a permanent, weekday role with nationwide deliveries of meat products. Early starts between 4:00am and 6:00am and a family-run distribution background are noted.

Salary ranges from £32,011 to £48,800 with overtime opportunities and various allowances. A permanent contract and company pension are offered, with weekly or monthly pay. Physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Driver CPC is mandatory.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• HGV driving experience, ideally 12 months.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and transport regulations.
• Flexibility for early starts and nationwide routes.
• A reliable and professional approach.

Were looking for experienced Class 1 and/or Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established, family-run distribution business in Ashton-under-Lyne.

You’ll complete nationwide deliveries of meat products, including carcass meat, so physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling are essential.
