Job summary

SUEZ in the United Kingdom is seeking a professional HGV driver to join our waste and recycling operations. You will drive and operate Rear Load/Compact vehicles, collecting Industrial and Commercial waste, while delivering a high standard of service and complying with health and safety rules.

We value a CPC and HGV2 license, with training provided for rear-collection vehicles, and welcome candidates with a passion for customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence and CPC card are essential.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not required.
• Experience with rear compaction vehicles is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling.
• Deliver a high standard of service while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety rules.
• Work as part of a team to maintain customer satisfaction.

Job description

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercialwaste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• An HGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
• Experience of working with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
