Job summary

Driver Hire Wakefield is seeking professional drivers for regular runs to Manchester, Birmingham, and Stansted, plus local deliveries across the North of the UK. Daily vehicle safety checks and professional representation at delivery locations are part of the role.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with night work for Class 1 and day work for Class 2. We offer a competitive hourly rate, a £750 permanent placement bonus, and CPC training. Long-term career opportunities exist with a respected employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 / Class 2 licence required.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Regular runs to Manchester, Birmingham, and Stansted in Class 1.
• Local deliveries around North of UK.
• Minimal handball – focus on driving, not heavy lifting (Class 1).
• Handball involved on Class 2 opportunity.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
