Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a well-established client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This role offers days shifts, £20 per hour, weekly pay, and real opportunities for progression.

Your day-to-day will involve depot-to-depot trunking, pre/post-trip checks, and ensuring loads are secured to schedule. Training and support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
• Minimum of two years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements.
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps.
• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Rates of Pay:

Days:

• £20.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• Start times between 04:00 and 08:00

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
