Job summary

Driver Hire Burton is seeking a Class 2 driver for a full-time temp-to-perm role based in Burton-on-Trent. You will deliver and offload goods to retail stores nationwide in a Class 2 rigid vehicle; shifts are Mon-Fri with occasional overnight stays.

Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00. Benefits include weekly pay, accrued/advanced holiday pay, and immediate starts on a supportive team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 years experience.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card.
• Able to physically fit as handballing of cages will be required.
• Professional Manner

Responsibilities

• Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
• Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.

Class 2 DriverBurton-on-TrentFull-time position with the potential to become permanent.Our client based in Burton requires a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join the team on a temp-to-perm contract .You will be responsible for the timely delivery and offloading of goods to their retail stores around the country, driving a Class 2 Rigid vehicle. This role is Mon-Fri with 1 overnight stay every fortnight.Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00 in the morning.

Duties

• Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
• Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Handballing cages off the trailer using the tail lift.

Pay

Pay£16.25ph (PAYE Advanced - Inclusive of holidays)£14.50ph (PAYE Accrued - Accrued holiday)
