Job summary

HR Employment Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for Gloucestershire assignments across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Newent, Dursley, Cinderford and Tewkesbury. Roles cover day and night shifts with a range of driving opportunities in local deliveries, multi-drop, palletised goods, trunking and general haulage, depending on the assignment.

Reliable, professional drivers with a valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation are completed accurately.
• Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with customers and site staff.
• Comply with drivers' hours regulations and working time requirements.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working order.

The Role

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a variety of driving opportunities across Gloucestershire. With vacancies available in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Newent, Dursley, Cinderford and Tewkesbury, we have a range of positions to suit drivers looking for both day and night work.
