Job summary

SUEZ in Eastbourne is seeking an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver to join our waste and recycling operations. You will drive and operate vehicles, collect Industrial and Commercial waste, and deliver a high standard of service while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Passion for professional driving and customer service.
• LGV Class 2 license and CPC card are essential.
• Experience in waste industry desirable but not required.
• Training provided for handling recycling vehicles.

Job description

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercialwaste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential
• Experience of working with recycling vehicles, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
