Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions is expanding nationwide and is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our national team based from Shaftesbury. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary + benefits and the chance to make an impact across the UK.

You'll operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers, plan routes, complete daily checks, and deliver high standards of safety and customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desired but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Strong safety, compliance and time-management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers.
• Plan routes and manage time-critical schedules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Provide excellent customer service on every job.
• Support loaders when vehicle is stationary.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you’ll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers

Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary

Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours

Providing excellent customer service on every job

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

You’re not just a driver — you’re a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We’re looking for:

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card
• ADR licence is desired but not essential
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Confidence working in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding role
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork
