Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a skilled HGV Operator (Drainage) based at our Aberdeen depot. You will join a two-person team operating high-spec jetting and vacuumation units, performing blockages clearance and liaising with customers.

Full training is provided, with 40-hour weeks and a view to progression. Benefits include weekly pay, enhanced overtime rates, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, Life Assurance, Auto-enrolment pension, and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required with ideally no more than 6 penalty points.
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable.
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – may be obtained if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work in a two-person team to operate high-spec jetting and vacuumation units; full training provided.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewer systems; training provided.
• Liaise with customers to coordinate works and updates.
• Update electronic records related to jobs and maintenance.
• Raise safety issues and ensure they are reported and logged.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks and basic maintenance.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivatedHGV Operator (Drainage)to join our Depot based in Aberdeen. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

About the role:

• Location:Aberdeen
• Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Salary:up to £13.50 per hour doe

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units -full training will be provided
  
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems -full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

Experience and qualifications required for the role:
