Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking an HGV Delivery Operative to join our team in the depot environment. You will deliver pipe fittings and aggregates to customers and project sites, load/unload vehicles, and support on-site operations while maintaining a safe yard and vehicle conditions.

The role blends driving, yard duties, and on-site support, requiring a Cat C licence with CPC, HIAB experience, and a collaborative, safety‑mocused approach. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Category C) Licence + CPC and digi tachograph.
• HIAB experience.
• Experience operating a grab vehicle would be advantageous.
• Experience within a delivery, yard, or construction environment.
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pipe fittings and aggregates to customers and project sites.

• Maintaining general housekeeping standards within the yard.
