What you'll do

Our HGV drivers are busy in this role, helping get our customers back on the road quickly. We value your previous experience and want you to bring it to this role. You will work within a team of drivers reporting to your Transport Controller.

As a Class C Driver, your responsibilities include collecting and delivering vehicles before and after repairs, working to deadlines to meet customer needs.

This will include:

1. Collecting and delivering cars within agreed timescales, ensuring excellent customer service, and processing all transactions following company procedures.
2. Completing forms to document any damage, including accident-related damage and old damage, taking digital photographs, and obtaining customer signatures.
3. Highlighting any defects during loading/unloading or at handover and informing the Production Manager.
4. Ensuring all jobs are referenced and filed upon completion.

What you'll need

This is a permanent, 40-hour per week role.

• HGV Class C driver license
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Customer-focused with excellent handling skills
• Knowledge of the local area around our repair centre
• Valid driving license meeting fleet insurance criteria and a Class 'C' LGV Licence
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
