What you'll do

Our HGV drivers are essential in this role, helping us get our customers back on the road swiftly. We value your previous experience and want you to bring it to our team. You will work within a team of drivers, reporting to your Transport Controller.

As a Class C Driver, your responsibilities will include:

1. Collecting and delivering vehicles within agreed timescales, providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery, and processing all transactions according to company procedures.
2. Completing forms to document any vehicle damage, including accident-related and old damages, taking digital photographs, and obtaining customer signatures.
3. Highlighting any defects found during loading/unloading or at vehicle handover and reporting these to the Production Manager.
4. Ensuring all jobs are properly referenced and filed upon completion.

What you'll need

This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week.

• HGV Class C driver experience
• Previous experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles and recovery experience
• Customer-focused with excellent customer handling skills
• Knowledge of the local area around our repair centre
• Valid driving license meeting fleet insurance criteria and a Class 'C' LGV Licence
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
