What you'll do

Our HGV drivers are kept busy in this role to get our customers back on the road quickly. We’d love you to bring your previous experience to this role. You will work within a team of other drivers reporting to your Transport Controller.

As a Class C Driver, we want you to bring your previous experience to the team. You will collect and deliver vehicles before and after repair, working to deadlines to meet our customer's needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and delivering cars within the agreed timescales, ensuring the best possible service, and processing all transactions following company procedures.
• Completing forms to indicate any damage, taking digital photographs, and obtaining customer signatures.
• Highlighting any defects or damages identified during loading/unloading or at handover and reporting them to the Production Manager.
• Ensuring all jobs are properly referenced and filed upon completion.

What you'll need

This is a permanent role, 40 hours a week.

• HGV Class C driver license
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Customer-focused with excellent handling skills
• Knowledge of the local area around our repair centre
• Valid driving license meeting fleet insurance criteria, Class 'C' LGV Licence
• Driver 'Certificate of Professional Competence' (CPC)
