Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a Cardiff-based client team. You will operate a tipper vehicle for collections and deliveries, ensuring safety and on-site service excellence.

Safe loading/unloading, daily vehicle checks, and a customer-focused mindset are essential. An immediate start is available with ongoing, full-time work and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Previous tipper experience preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 Tipper lorry in line with safety standards.
• Carry out site collections and deliveries around Cardiff and surrounding areas.
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed daily.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.

Days £15ph - £16.81ph (higher rate including holiday pay)

Overtime up to £22.5ph on a Saturday

Location: Cardiff, South Wales CF3

The role:

As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 Tipper lorry to carry out collections and deliveries, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and providing an excellent service on site.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 Tipper lorry in line with safety standards
• Carrying out site collections and deliveries around Cardiff and surrounding areas
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

About you:

As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (held for a minimum of 2yrs)
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
• Previous tipper experience preferred
• Strong focus on safety and customer service
