Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Tipper Day Shift Drivers on ad-hoc and long-term roles. The role involves safe operation of a Class 2 vehicle, roadside/site work with sand/topsoil, and tipping duties.

Candidates must hold a Category C licence with up to 6 points, in-date CPC and Digi card, and have at least 12 months of driving experience, including 8-wheel tipper work. Hours are typically between 06:00 and 18:00 with some night shifts; start times vary with schedules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Category C (Class 2) licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR endorsements.
• In-date CPC and Digi card are required.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Experience with 8-wheel tipper vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a Class Two (C) vehicle.
• Roadside and site work moving sand, top soil, etc.
• Operate a tipper vehicle safely and in line with procedures.

*We have adhoc as well as long term roles available*

The role:

• Safe operation of a Class Two (C) vehicle.
• Roadside and site work moving sand top soil etc
• Tipper vehicle.

The candidate:

• "C" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• 8 Wheel Tipper experience

Hours of work:

• Between 06.00 and 18.00 & Night Shift.
• Start times can vary due to delivery schedule

Pay Rates:

• £14.00 per hour
